Sure could haha these delays are a joke nearly a year and still no box on my doorstep - COVID-19 cannot be used as an excuse for Alita, Pet Sem, Casino, Brocketman or even The Shining. Come on @duckandrun stop getting our hopes up with beauty shots of future releases and crack on with the orders you have taken payment for. I know you say your collectors too but are you just collecting our pre order money? I love your releases but the delays are a joke even before COVID

Have messaged them on Facebook multiple times regarding this release. First reply said end of February (when Terrifier was finished) Sent another message at the start of May, they replied saying it would be dispatched at the end of May / start of June. Going on the fact we've not seen any BS of the box-set, I can see it being a while longer so am thinking of cancelling as, as you say, it's beyond a joke now, COVID or no COVID. Has anyone had to cancel an order with them? I can't see an option on their website?

I can hardly see it getting any better at this rate to be honest. The rate of dispatches against the rate of pre orders will have only gotten worse due to the current situation. People would be lucky to see the likes of Batman / Batman Returns, UOATIH and Joker this side of 2020, IMO.

I don't think it's really fair, as this is common with other retailers as well.

As long as the retailer is giving updates and not hiding, it is in my opinion worth giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Of course it would help if @duckandrun were to provide an update about this particular release but we also must put ourselves in the shoes of the person being constantly criticized (and some even go as far as throwing insults) by some. It comes to a point where it discourages the other party from speaking at all.

Like I said I love the CM line just tired of the delays and the only thing we do seem to hear about is the Art issues which I think needs to be sorted out privately by all parties involved.
I do reallly hope processing speeds up in the coming months.
Lastly I hope I'm not considered to being too critical, I like the CM line like I said just running out of patience and hopeful @duckandrun its taken as constructive feedback and nothing else

There cannot be good justifications for such a long delay, but we have had many unforeseen events both on the delivery of the signed contracts by the Artists (necessary to proceed with printing), and for the poor quality of the first prototype we received. Then came the lockdown.

We have continued the production of many titles at the same time to reduce waiting times.

Thanks for the update Carlos so does that mean we will be getting quite a few releases together or within a shorter time frame?

I received Alita as soon as it was released but that was before the lockdown. When did you order? It could be that by the time you ordered, it got caught up in the global shipping mess caused by the lockdown. Have you asked CM directly about your order?

It's held up because of issues with the book and was then held up because of COVID which just made the delay worse and nothing CM could prevent. Just with the pre order being August last year we should have had it well before covid even with the book issues.
I've got the box set for Pet Sem so look forward to the pictures Carlos is sending when they are on here and hope they are despatched soon
