not one to usually blow the glossy horn, but as decent as the pictures are, this is a steel that truely needed to be glossy

It's hard to believe that Zavvi had no say so in the design of the cardboard slip. I may be wrong, but whoever did that committed a serious booboo in my books.

the teenie lil slips for TLM, Aladdin and TJB were perfect to display, but now I either chop off half the slips for Fantasia onward or leave almost a 3rd of the artwork covered up

I agree. The back is actually quite dark too, so pixie dust would've definitely brightened it up a bit.

just received my dumbo and lady and the tramp steels... v happy with them. so happy in fact i've just re-ordered the peter pan steel i cancelled. just couldnt resist.

also, on a negative note, i notice the spines on the j cards now state what number the title is in the collection. which is great, but they arent on the earlier releases...

I agree that the inside artwork is perfect...but I also LOVE the back - think of how many time we have seen something Diseny end with tinkerbell waving her wand ...its the perfect back artwork and the main reson I got this one.

Yes it is mildly annoying, but it's Disney's number rather than Zavvi's numbering.

Didnt turn out too badly to be honest. Embossed it a little on the thin side. No stupid embossing, alot plainer and simpler.

Dayam, that ugly plain blue 1/4 slip is hiding a lot of color and beautiful artwork on the bottom. This is 1 time that a 1/4 had failed. Was gonna order a few, but that slip made things easy for me.

Peter Pan Steelbook...

Nice Steelbook, and Awesome 1/4 slip it comes in, No Glue or stickers to remove. I know the art doesnt always match the slip(like on TNBC). I customize the poly bag so it fits. I love that Zavvi's Disney lineup is getting these heavy duty Slips, these are the only J-Cards that I collect, all the others go straight into the trash. If only they used MORE GLOSS!!!!
