and i think what arrow releases in steelbook currently is just fine in terms of quantity / quality, but there is no need to give every single release of them the steelbook treatment. i wouldn't spend 18GBP on a steelbook of "who dares wins" (well maybe I would, but i don't think 1999 other people would...).
on the other hand, i wouldn't mind getting all the italian genre cinema movies (argento, fulci, bava...) in an ultra limited print-run steelbook.

i think going the way with the more title-friendly front cover and putting our favorite artwork on the back was the right decision!
these two artworks were the most popular, so it will please most of the collectors that are interested.
