Finally got my first Mondo poster!!! It's Kevin Tong's Wizard of Oz. I really like how this came out!!! I also recently picked up a Zero Dark Thirty and while at this weekend's Houston Comic Con had Greg Capullo who works on the Batman Comics sign his print!! 
Probably too much but really liked the frame. From Michaels with 60% off about $235 dollars for everything including the mat.
In the midst of unpacking in my new house but wanted to post a quick pic. You can definitely see GID layer but it doesn't bother me.
I think I just finally found my frame and mats at Michaels, pricey though. Will have to wait until a 60% + 20% discount to make a choice and it will still be closer to $300
But I think it is something that may be worth doing. Its similar to yours with the green mat, but with a yellow inner mat and the frame has this small "rust" line in the middle of the frame

Looks good! They mocked up the yellow mat between the gray and green on mine but decided against it to save costs a little bit as I also paid for the frame on the zero dark thirty print. When there is a sale I think you should get it! It's a really nice poster design for that frame. During that same sale I also the alien print but going have to wait to spend that kind of money again!

yeah right now they have a 60% off or pay full price for 1 and get 2 free, but would rather not spend $900 to frame 3 items right now. IMO as long as you find a good sale you even out. I have a 2nd piece I want framed but found a really nice frame at a second independent store.
I am only going for 2 mats, at one point I had a orangy red mat, but think that the green upper and yellow lower works better. I was also thinking about a gray may but went against that as it draws focus to the bottom of the picture when you would rather be drawn to the center. Though I do like how yours came out.

Good deal, and you are right eventually you will find a good sale. They will always occur and I'm still reading through the other thread learning other folks tips. This site has been good for me to learn that. I'm looking forward to when you get yours framed because that mock up is going to look real sharp when applied!!
