On the platinum edition disc 1 is dvd and disc 2 is bluray and bonus, would anyone use the dvd anyway ?
wrong, UK platinum edition is 3 disc (2 blu ray) (1 dvd)
Little nitpick but according to the back cover Pinocchio contains "no material likely to offend or harm" but just happens to arguably be one of Disney's most nightmare inducing films.
Preach, dude. This movie is CRAZY, like, kinda worse than the pink-elephants-in-Dumbo scene crazy.
Why does the release date say June 4th? Is that for real?

Dang! Everytime I see a new steelbook from Zavvi posted, it is already sold out!

my favourite Disney film - I had the US one but with it being region locked I sold it on.
so glad we have a uk one coming, that we can actually watch.
and glad its after the teething problems - should be a quality steelbook - and I would say certainly steelbook of the year if its done right.

I find it pretty weird the preorder up dates are not in order. We ordered Hercules yesterday (#18), but this one is still not live. I can understand it can be really hard for people who do not follow the situation on forums like this.
In regard to the inside art; Pinocchio looks pretty chilled considering there's a giant whale of death coming to get him!
