I just got the Best Buy release from eBay a few weeks ago. I'll still probably get this one too if artwork and the finish pan out. But I still like that the BBY Pinocchio was released here in the US, and that it has Walt's name on it. Shortly after Bambi came out on blu-ray, the studio dropped the "Walt" out of Walt Disney and since then all classic Disney releases are branded as simply "Disney"

A great choice here. Its a shame this'll probably not include the extras disc from the 1st Blu Ray release which the rerelease omittedando make this more complete. Guess another one with 2 copies of the film then... XD

I should be excited for this, but am not. There should be a buzz around all these new announcements. There isn't. My decision will be based on the artwork and content. Despite my lack of excitement, I have a soft spot for Disney classics.

This has never had a UK Steelbook release before so its a First time UK release

That is true, but there was a Bestbuy/FS release. So my comment stands.

Thinking about it, I'm glad they left Pinocchio this long... if they'd released it earlier, then chances are it would've been matte like the others. I expect it to have the same artwork as the current Blu-ray amaray anyway, which isn't my favourite, but I can definitely live with it. Really looking forward to getting this one, finally!

I can't wait for this one. This bluray conversion is IMO the most beautiful conversion to date. A steelbook to go with it will be a work of art.
