Yes-I have to agree-this cover reminds me of an old-school sci fi or horror flick, where a blue screen was used and the effect was so clearly fake. The latter is ok, but for a graphic image, I expect something more refined, IMO. I hope there is a different cover, ultimately...

I'm shocked to this day how much I disagree with most people about the Riddick series. I HATED Pitch Black. I LOVED Chronicles. I ended up buying the french double feature stickerbook.

Hi Che, noticed you joined the site, welcome. I actually liked both movies and own both on blu-ray (I'm a big sci-fi fan/geek though). To me they have different tones but in the end I loved both and can't wait for the next.

I'm undecided if I'll keep it though - given the way the last set of steelbooks (with Paramount) completely dropped after release.

Plenty of time to cancel, I suppose.

Thanks. Its just I have UK Amaray Blu Ray which is the theatrical version. Whereas people in North America were treated to the directors cut of the film.
