I don't agree with that mentality at 23 quid. I'm saying 'it could've been much better like aladdin.'

The price doesn't really bother me, as I said the quality is good & I have seen much worse for the same price like MU.
If I had a choice I would settle for the quality of Aladdin to be, at the very least, assigned to the classics and I really hope that Lady & the Tramp gets it as it has the potential to be just as good as good as Aladdin.

Was probably there designing the slip and though, ah crap I can't be bothered we gave it a cr p finish let's give it a cr p slip.

The slip has no title. I guess they tried to go simple, however, it doesn't even blend with the steelbook.

Overall, I give this Steelbook 1/10. Yes folks. 1!!

I really do not understand that anyone actually bought this. I really wasn't expecting to EVER see pictures of this. AT ALL. EVER.

Too bad i forget to cancel this one, and Nightmare before Christmas
But i don't even going to open the package, it goes back straight away.
I will wait for the almost certain "zavvi offer" on this two.

Damn. If one more expensive steelbook comes out cheap matte im going to just bin this disney collection.

I dont mind matte on cheaper better value stuff but bright disney covers have to have it. Especially for 23 quid. They even DARE do matte finishes on any of next years pixar disney steels and thats pretty much it for zavvi.

That slip is also bloody ridiculous

Like I put in the Nightmare thread,

I'm sorry but Zavvi really dropped the ball on this one. A huge opportunity missed. They did some fancy things. It really didnt need the from Cars tagline, looks so stupid above Planes.

A glossy finish WAS required on this. They didnt need to do embossing. They didnt need anything fancy.


For example, take Cars,

I forgot how gorgeous this steelbook was The colours! The red just pops off the steel. And a very high definition / resolution image used. SO many times this year, we've seen low quality images used and the annoyance of white spots on the finish (on the matte ones, my nightmare is covered in them, other disney ones the same).

What happened Disney??? DO you really hate steelbook that much these days??? Please, go back to this.

I would have been fine with it reading all in the same font "From the world above Pixar's Cars.." Sticking the cars logo in there is just bad design but I understand why they did it. It just speaks volumes that Disney does not think the movie can stand on its own without coat-tailing on the success of Cars.
