I thought being a Paramount SteelBook that it would have had a quote on the back like Some Kind OF Wonderful, Pretty In Pink and Scream.
That actual photo is from the day where you could buy blank steelbooks in bulk and print whatever you wanted from there.

I'm just wondering if anyone has gotten ahold of some of thses blank cases and what there like? I would love to see some pics of how you've put um to use. I have some good home videos of my family that were shot on a old reel to reel video recorder from the 60s and 70s that I had transfred...
They were never THAT bad but there were a number of them that didn't even have credits. just a blank matte back and nothing.
At least on the lazy designs these days they will usually put something, lol
True. But honestly, I'm just happy it has a good cover and not some goofy art.Really needs a 4k transfer
Front's good, no complaints.
Back is poop. Should have been the car ablaze on the highway.
Inside art is acceptable, but could have been our hero's carrying the luggage to the house. Or a shot of the two of them in the car with Candy as Satan and Martin as a burnt skeleton. Or even sitting in the back of the truck frozen stiff.
Price is excellent, which seals the deal for me.

Brilliant news, love this movie. Wonder if UK will get a release as well. Will order just in case it doesn’t
I think that front is fantastic! Love this movie. This would be a dream buy if it was a new 4k restoration too. Really hope UK gets this. An absolute classic film.
My favourite comedy of ALL TIME. Really hope this gets a UK release.
I guess that means the original JAWS STEELBOOK was kind of a throwback, an homage is you will, to the nothingness that a blank back provides. Of course, the back of that steel was all blue, so there is that. Pffft.
heck yes! I pushed for this title last year and was told they talked to product buyer there .... I thought all was lost when it didnt happen , last year but now it is ... hopefully sells well enough for them.
