Does anyone know how many of each title they produced for the play.com 100th anniversary steelbook range?

4000 would be that magic number with the exception of titles like Terminator

Wreck is the man to ask for the print runs. I believe it's 4k for catalogue titles and more for newer releases. Check out this post here.

Like the horizontal steels? all 4k ... pretty much all play.com titles from 2012 are 4k except new releases and usually you can find that info in the OP of steel specific threads.

thanks peeps. 4000 isn't actually that many. I was looking at getting scarface, wolverine, untouchables and the thing but am new to collecting and only want SB's which are fairly limited in production to start my collection off.

They are all limited

No seriously, limitation isn't the only factor for a steelbook to become a holy grail ...
It's always limitation + demand. BR and Terminator from play sold out within a week, others like Hellboy and the Hulk are still available, while they have the same 4k print run ...
Also, if a steelbook is exclusive and limited to 4k in the UK, another country may get the exact same artwork sometime later or there might be a rerelease of the same steelbook (very rare though)
