Cancelled mine, so much coming out, in fact cancelled about 80% of my preorders! So much coming out, steel books are losing their appeal.. money doesn't grow on trees for me anyway lol
Cancelled. It's only when i check my account and see how many i have pre-ordered i realise i have to put the breaks on. Cancelled Gremlins and Monsters Uni too, this is just getting too expensive for steels that don't cut the mustard.
I cancelled mine also and others getting cancelled also
I have to stop hitting the order button on new steelbook releases
Rules for me now are and will be strict on this
1)New Film Release I will get Steelbook Version if released and only if its a film I would be buying even if no steelbook was released
2)Back catalogue films only if all extras are included and artwork is amazing
If extras are dropped as in original release had extras disc it will be no purchase if any extras disc not included
There will be no exception to this even if the artwork is fantastic
3) Arrow Video Releases
I will be ordering armary cases with reversible covers before the steelbook unless the steelbook artwork is amazing compared with reversible covers you have a choice
Steelbook are great but from now I will not accept any release that excludes previous extras
3D releases I don't get unless it includes exclusive extras so I'm not bothered if 3D not part of release unless its has extras not on 2D release
We all should demand with back catalogue been released in steelbook they include the same extras as most recent standard release if original was 2 discs the steelbook must also be 2 discs

Star Trek (Reissue)
First Blood (Rambo) old disc was used and not the newer release with better picture and extras
Disney UK we should demand they give the same extras as USA or European releases
Disney also should also be releasing discs with artwork
I'm going to swap out the insert in my Close encounters of the third Kind steel to take the extra disc from my standard release.
Pretty strict set of rules you've made for yourself mate, good luck with that
I know I couldn't stick to it as far as back catalogue titles go, should really as it does bug the hell out of me when they don't include stuff that was in the standard release anyway.
