I'm so glad ive canceled this although i have never seen it in flesh and base my opinion solely on some washed out pics taken with a 12 year old cellphone cam

@smash41: your pics look a lot better!

Yes it looks better in that pic. The other pic is still good, it just shows up that disappearing/fading image effect you get with this finish when viewed from an angle. I'll pick it up at some point.

A lot of these steels are getting boring now. Overpriced and no thought going into them at all. Starting to lose interest. They need to be amazing designs/treatment and low print runs to justify the cost or I'll just stick to standard blu-rays. Rant over.

Oh and most that arrive have some sort of defect somewhere.

Received my copy in mint condition. To confirm then the finish is indeed mat again which I think is a poor choice for this steel. The finish is consistent though and not washed out as some have said. Unfortunately though this is another example of over use of mat paint, over use of embossed title, over use of border work. These three elements used together all of the time will quickly cause boredom among collectors as we need much more variety to keep us interested. I can only give this 5/10

Thanks for the pics. Looks like the washed out 'powdery' effect matte finish again from picture 6.

Glad I skipped this one at full price. May get when it hits £5.99

Just got this ordered tonight. I can't remember if I watched it a while back.

Either way, i've heard a lot of positive feedback from the movie, so I'm looking forward to seeing it.

I'm not sure if it has been posted yet, but for those who are wondering.... it is indeed REGION FREE. I just checked A, B, and C on my player and it works for all.

Lol thanks i bought it was curious though havent even opened it yet :hilarious:

I'm not too happy with mine. As previously suggested, the images are a bit pixelated. That's too much to take for a perfectionist like myself.

I joke. It's not perfect, but it's not awful.
Wouldn't buy again if the film wasn't so awesome.
6/10?
