I saw it-as a fan of this franchise, I was a bit surprised to see Adrian Brody in this role, but it was also refreshing as it was completely different than his other work. It should look great on Blu, but had a strange anti-climactic endingl, for me....

I felt AVP lost that feel that Predator 1 and 2 had, did Predators revive that?

Totally. I hated AVP and I won't spoil it, but there are a LOT of inside jokes for big fans of the first Predator film.

It's fun, and like DB said - Brody is quite believable as the action lead.

RE: the ending - come on, you know they're making a sequel. ;)

Awesome, I was truly disappointed with AVP and it felt dis attached from the Predator and Predator 2. Like they weren't part of the same universe. I am glad they went back to the roots.

My fave in AVP was when the girl was running with the Predator and her hair and his were flying in sync..come on! But at least the movie did look amazing in Blu, LOL:)

Mr Rodriguez originally wrote the script like 10 years ago, and when they green lit the project, he hired another writer or two (I forget who) to dust off the script.

It's just a fun movie, but there are definite parallels to the first film, including some definite plot points that are similar.

And it was nice to see a strong female character - I'm definitely a fan of Alice Braga. :naughty:
