Purchase:
Zavvi - £19.99
Base - £14.99
Release: June 1st, 2015
Notes: Empire Online are holding another Steelbook design competition... See here for full details.
We're giving you the chance to design the cover for the Predestination Steelbook Blu-ray. Your artwork will be immortalised in steel - and available to buy from major retailers if you impress the judge, Ethan Hawke himself.

The Oscar-nominated actor will choose his favourite artwork for the Home Entertainment release of Predestination and Signature Entertainment will turn it into the steelbook cover of the film, crediting your name on the packaging.

You'll also win copies of the Blu-ray and a 10 film sci-fi bundle also courtesy of Signature.

Has anyone else had any problems playing the disc from this steelbook? Mine displays one of the usual warnings and a title screen of some sort, then it just freezes on a black screen (this all plays for 27 seconds until the freeze at the end). Was really hoping to watch this tonight. (n)

Cheers buddy, I appreciate it, but there's no need now... I literally just fixed it after posting my previous comment lol. All I did was disconnect my PS4 from the internet and then the disc loaded up straight away with no problems... strange!

Ahh okay, just tried it and its working for me but my internet is not connect to it until I select it so maybe that's why. At least I know that for the future anyway

I remember that I had a similar issue with Robin Hood (Ridley Scott one) on the PS3... it kept stuttering/skipping unless I disconnected my console from the net. I have a Breaking Bad set too, but I've not got around to watching it yet... wonder if it'll be the same on the PS4? But, yeah... if you ever have any problems playing a Blu-ray on a games console, then just try turning the internet off.

There is a listing on Amazon UK for this, but mentions it as DVD...has the picture of the steelbook, and is costlier than the regular DVD version. In addition, it is shipped and sold by Amazon, not an outside seller....I placed on order though I am in US....I guess I can risk it with Amazon's service...

Has anyone ordered this with Amazon UK? Or was it an exclusive with only Zavvi and HMV???

I've just picked this up from HMV. London Moorgate branch has sold out and not getting any more in. Oxford Street now only has three left and was told more are on order.
