I second this. Years ago I made one preorder purchase from them and it was a fiasco. I filed a chargeback with my credit union and FA never responded, so it ended up being pretty easy to get everything refunded.

I do have the Everest full slip and Prometheus 1/4 slip releases that I got for good prices on eBay (I want to say the combined cost was something like $80-90 USD total). But I’ll never again deal with them directly after that first experience.

A point I raised myself in an earlier post. The artwork was clearly created for use with the 3D embossing, not a flat image, especially the Prometheus artwork.
Interestingly, the flat artwork is present inside the original release for this and Alien.If I can get photos of the inside of both slips I'll post some but might be tricky, especially with Alien as the image is darker...

Prometheus artwork doesn't have the title and becomes so dark at the bottom that there's very little detail, whilst the Alien artwork is darker at the top, also losing detail. If they're using these images then yes, a special finish is definitely needed to elevate them from pointless to even vaguely ok...

I personally think out of the Alien/Prometheus/Alien Covenant 3D embossed editions the one that would work best with flat artwork would be Covenant. I always felt that artwork was too intricate for the 3D embossed and that it was the one that didn't translate well...
