Nearly Finished My Display room. Walls all resurfaced and painted, Nice new carpet and PC desk. Will need to get another book case and more stands, but I am really pleased with the result so far as I have done it myself :D What do you think :ohno:

I have another book case coming that I will half along its length and put each half in the end space of the main wall making it wall to wall. That should give room for 30 or so more. I am also planning on another for behind the door so there's plenty of room yet. I am also looking at some led lighting to highlight the steels but still working that out. I am going to use the wall space above the PC desk for some framed stuff using some of the cards from the steels and also some floating shelves on the wall between the door and the main display shelf for some feature stuff. That will all be next but will have to save up some more again. So what do you thing any suggestions would be welcome especially on placement as that's been a huge headache.

Wow pud that's a fantastic collection mate the time and effort you've put into it shows your love of film, i really like your shelving and cases as it compliments your room perfectly that's the one thing i need to sort out as a lot of my collection is hidden away in the spare room, :scat:

Been doing some work on the main wall. The end sections are in and I now just have to move some about, This is the bit I hate once you start you are never happy. Will update with new pics when its done ;)

Looking ace - I think your display is the poster boy for double dipping! :) if anyone does get it they just need to look at this collection - thanks for sharing :)

Just waiting on one or two coming in that I have made space for then I will replace the pics with up to date ones

Sounds good. Cant wait to see them. IMO this is one of the best "displayed" steelbook collections Ive ever seen anywhere. The display setup alone had to cost a pretty penny.

Wow, very impressive!

See, this is what one can do with enough space/shelving.

How did you "step up" the steels on some shelves? (Like your Iron Man Shelf you have 3 steels in behind that are higher up than the ones below them)

looks like a mini floating shelf in the back there that the "step up" steels are sitting on. Maybe a little bit of custom work with some L brackets? Wouldn't be hard to find something in that finish to match.

Im sure the man himself will answer soon enough, lol. I was wondering the same thing initially Adam and looked closer and the above was what I concluded.

Spot on mate, as its hidden behind the front steel its the easiest way to maximum the space ;)
