I like A and C the best. Will definitely avoid B after mistakenly going for B with Kill Bill and later ordering both Type A's as they were much better, imo. It's another case of not being blown away by the reveals although it's a pretty easy buying decision for me this time round lol. Will go for Type A unless real pics sway me otherwise.

Mh for me it sounds like you already choose A, even if you dont know it yet :D :)

Oh and yes, B is a no-go with that brown paper look

I’m definitely leaning heavily towards A but only because I think it’s really nice looking NOT because I think it represents the film well. If the afro wasn’t missing, I think I would just begrudgingly choose C, but I just don’t know how anyone can get over such a huge mistake.

I know what you mean, had similar issues with mistakes in the Reservoir Dogs release.

I changed my mind about my recommandation for you, and say take A. You will always see that missing afro if it bothers you so much. Everytime you look at it, because you know it's there..errr becauce you know it isnt :D
Mia isnt the only person in the movie but an important one and the Slip is great. So A! :D

Honestly, I’m more surprised every single post doesn’t mention it more than just being disappointed in all the slips. Everybody here is probably a more hardcore collector than me and, personally, I can’t imagine how anyone would be ok with Jules sans afro. I mean if Vincent had a mowhawk, would anyone buy slip C? Same difference if you ask me.

Any predictions of how long it will be available because I’m nervous about ordering now without some feedback from friends between A and C?

Maybe some more feedback here? I can’t miss out on this. Thanks.
You shoukd be good for a little while. There were 100 available for each, and not so many sold. The GB won’t sell out so you have time until it’s closed, but wouldn’t leave it too long just in case though!

My suggestion would be A for you, simply because it sounds like it’s the only one you’d be happy enough with in the long run.

It’s not a mistake per se, they had several promotional photos used without the afro. I think they shot them before the movie and his looks were changed but still decided to go with it and use them for promotion. It’s weird but also a bit funny to me. :) A little typical something Tarantino would do.

My thoughts seem to tie with others here. Nothing here really blows me away or screams at me as being "PULP FICTION."

Fullslip A is really cool looking but I personally don't like a slipcover of smelly feet.
Fullslip B is OK...but the gun in place of the letter L in the logo doesn't look right to me, and the wrinkled brown look makes it look like a western.
Lenticular is the best of a bad bunch but it really just a couple of nice promo photos. The lack of wig doesn' my bother me, as I accept it as a promotional photo, but I can see how it would bother some people.

I'm just not sure whether the lenticular or quarter slip is the best to go for.

Slips are a bit of a disappointment:(

Slip A will probably be the one I go for

Slip B matches the Kill Bill ones nicely but I have the one click for those so it's not like they'd be lined up on a shelf together so ultimately irrelevant

Lenti Slip would have been the winner if it were a full slip as it's iconic poster art

1/4 slip is probably the best tbh as it shows off the best part of the package the Steelbook itself

One Click box is just meh although does match the Reservoir Dogs one (which I passed on)

Hopefully Nova post in hand images before the PO goes live...

I completely respect everyone else’s opinion but I am still kind of shocked anyone is ok with it. Even if it was a promotional shot, Jules never looks like that in the film. I really want to fall back on C and call it a day but, I honestly can’t imagine ever getting over that. I definitely think A is “pretty” but really sucks that it is all about Mia on the steel and slip (with a touch of Vincent and zero Butch). I actually think the feet on the back is cool, it just should have been art of Butch back there imo. Ugh, looks like I picked the wrong day to stop sniffing glue.

Im disappointed how much disappointment are those slips meet with o_O:grumpy: .

To me all looking great and I appreciate Nova´s effort. Only weird thing is the back of slip A :bored: and Jule´s missing afro in lenti image, but in overall I feel all the slips and to be honest Im seriously thinking of Oneclick here because it is one of my TOP 5 movies of all time.

Slip A - front is just gorgeous , back could have been different but overall I like it a lot so If not OC this will be my choice probably
Slip B - like many already have said, it fits the other B Nova slips nicely, but unlike the others I feel also this one even despite the "western" look of it, to me it fits the Tarantino himself as a director who loves westerns :D. Btw at first I thought that there is written all Ezekiel 25:17 on the front, that would be awesome :cigar:

Slip C - love both the images used, one of the most iconic posters, and lenti with switching afro would be hilarious @jonnybobbytimmy :hilarious::hilarious:

My two cents  again Im really sad about how many of you don´t like these slips, but I thank Nova for this release and it will sell out anyway so from this point of view Im happy for Nova :coffee:

Bring on the preorders! :cigar:

I have no problem understanding that view. In most cases I would totally agree and would prefer the movie-look on this myself too. But in this case I also find it a bit cool/funny. It tells a little story about the promotion of the movie, and to me it seems intentional when they’ve clearly used and approved these long after the movie is done. If it was done once it could’ve been a mistake but obviously it’s not. I find it kinda Tarantino-esque, very weird but also funny and self-ironical. :D I’m between A and Lenti myself but think I’ll land on the Lenti, a lityle because I think it’s a funny detail but mostly because I feel it reflects the movie the most of these 3 (a little underwhelming) choices.

None of these NM Tarantino slips is jaw-dropping so far, but as a collection, they will look very nice displayed all together.

Slip A, no doubt. Went for slips A for Kill Bill and Dogs, and this one is the only that stylistically fits in that line. Ready to order, and when I receive it, I'll start bothering them with Jackie Brown. :smug:

To everyone in this thread, the afro isn't missing on slip C, it's just part of the lenticular effect, move it and the afro is toggled on and off

yay well we have to find something to joke about right? :naughty:

I just can’t seem to appreciate it the way others do. This movie was a huge deal to me and I guess I’m a bit literal in my way of thinking. I don’t want brown paper because QT likes westerns and I don’t want Jules to look like promotional photos, I want him to look like he did in the film I saw and that blew me away in college like no other film ever had. Especially on the front of an exclusive that I will have until I die.

A isn’t exactly perfect but it was the one the first caught my eye so I will be getting that one even though, as I said, I would almost certainly get the lenti if Jules had his afro, not because I think it’s a more attractive slip than A but because it includes more of the cast and, by default, kind of would represent the movie best.
