Well finding that quakecon was mearly 26 minutes away I decided to take a visit..

First I have to say the Gaylord resort is amazing.. very breath taking.. take money to pay for parking it can cost you anywhere around 6 bucks to 20 bucks be prepared..

Well first we hit up the nvidia booth and tried there new polarized lens technology to see a racing game in 3d..

Have to say it worked menus were above closer to the eye created a sorta 3d effect the effects were more impressive in a third person view as the first person view I would advise against.. as it messes with your side vision.. not to have anything there..

I can try to explain better if anyone is interested.

Next we checked out Wet they only had 360 versions to play with..

sorry about this the game moved so fast it caused this effect.

The game actually plays like your in a action movie.. you have alot of post processing film affects placed on the game..

It works except during the car scene the animation was too canned jumping from car to car the game would extremlly slow time down to justify you connecting because most of them your character was off way too much...

Things that worked the gunplay was impressive, so was sword play have to say it really worked it also had another mode called rage mode when your characters face gets covered in blood.

Next game to try out was wolfenstein which I have to say was more impressive then I thought it would be..

I won't say much but I was suprised by the weapon upgrade feature in the game...

Allowing many upgrades on every weapon making them better and better..

Things that were not mentioned I did play about 4 hours of quake live while there, I also consumed large quantity of bawls...

I enjoyed myself but there was some funny stuff that happened cosplayers dressed up as mario princess and a large breasted women cosplaying as Luigi.. they were all carrying inflatable swords jumping up and down running around the resort and quakecon...

On our leaving we did spot some oddities that scared the crap of some people..

They have bawls everywhere over here where I live. Maybe they should change the name if they want more sales. A lot of people feel embarrassed buying/drinking it just cause of the name.

They quit selling it here, I always bought it in great amounts, at the event people were buying 20 or so odd cases right off the bawls guy..

I find the name generally makes me and my buds just laugh I mean we just sit around drinking bawls dropping bawl metaphors while playing games..

Heck I even got my father into dropping the bawls metaphors..

Im sorry to hear that, that was not nice of them, they had a crap load of pcs there playing quake live, they also had ghostbusters, a flight sim, left4dead, wolfenstein, doom, quake classic, quake arcade, wet, demigod, and I think that was it.

That is where I use to buy I would empty there shelfs every week..
Then they quit stalking it they all told me was going to come back but it never did.. my uncle works for target and they do not sell it where he lives either...

I did, I signed the petition. I'd like to see bawls more widely available

Wreck, not all Targets carry them. Most only carry them in cans which taste slightly different than in a glass bottle
