To be fair, the gloss looks way better than the previous photos have shown off, and the black is a nice shade. The front is a bit boring but it's not bad, much better than ID4.

I actually think the matt black finish has a more military-type feel to it and is maybe more appropriate to the movie. Thanks for pics

I think the pics on previous page are washed out by the use of a powerful flash- I'm guessing Snooloui pics are more accurate.

They'll be even slower with the sheer amount being sent back this week, and this is just from the 2 steels people have received so far. We still have the 2 Evil Deads to see and await the extent of the Pines disaster.

I have to admit It's not the greatest of releases but its certainly an upgrade from DVD for me!

I'm looking forward to watching this in bluray for the first time I think I'll wait until 2+3 are released before i order them.

I was personally hoping for embossing on the sharp side of the knife ;(

I dont preorder brand new steelbooks for them to arrive worse than a used mint copy down the line

This looks really cool, i just hope they follow the same design with the other 2 so it doesnt look out of place.
