To be fair, the gloss looks way better than the previous photos have shown off, and the black is a nice shade. The front is a bit boring but it's not bad, much better than ID4.

You HAVE to choose your language in the welcome screen otherwise no option to change once you get to the main screen. I've tested it and it does play in Spanish language etc

Hey guys, it's the time we were told, sorry:( We can't do anything about any delays that occur on their end for any reason. We know it's frustrating when this happens, so all I can say is keep trying if you have time. If we see it go live, we'll post. Otherwise, I am sure someone will catch it and post. Good luck!:scat:

Won't this Studiocanal disc have the same transfer as the German release?

Its listed as a better transfer but have not done a compassion with UK Blu Ray
I had the USA Release and picture quality of the German release is huge difference as in much better

I can confirm the extras
The extras though are huge difference
none of these below are on the uk release
New extras on the German release
The True Vietnam documentary (26:56)
America's Green Berets documentary (9:54)
Courage and Honour documentary (27:11)
How to Become Rambo featurette (14:19)

Yes, I was wondering about this.

I have the U.S. versions (look perfect as far as I can tell) is the UK release some inferior version??

Or is the U.S. and UK versions of the movie the same???

The German Rambo The Trilogy The Ultimate Edition released in 2011
German Ultimate Edition has the best extras and a new transfer
Picture Quality is much better than the USA Release from 2007/2008

UK Steelbook is the same Blu Ray and DVD from 2008 and has less extras than the German release from 2011

I have seen the blu ray screen grabs on dvd beaver. The German/European releases win hands down with picture quality over the dated U.S old prints.Deffo worth upgrading if you are a fan ofthese classics

But the UK release isn't the same as the German/European versions then?

Yeah? Personally I couldn't fault any of the U.S. movies :dunno:

I gave away my copy of blu ray of First blood USA release to a friend
when I got the German release
massive difference in quality and extras

Depends on whats important to you I originally has Zavvi steelbook on order but I cancelled it when I found out it had very little in extras

Some just want a Steelbook and don't care about the disc itself
With me the most important part is the Disc extras and transfer
Each person to his own choice as long as there happy that counts

The Blu ray and dvd in this steelbook are from 2008

The New transfer was released in 2011

Thanks for this but i will buy this when i completed the rambo in steel:D

Rambo - The Complete Collection (Special Grenade Packaging) UK released in 2011
has the new transfer same as the German release

But big let down is that this Steelbook which includes Blu Ray and Dvd
are the same discs from 2008 which are not great for extras and Transfer
you can see from the photos there the 2008 discs

The New transfer Discs are White 2011

It would of made far better sense to of released this as a steelbook (possibly with new art) instead.

- but of course zavvi dont really care, when they can bleed out 1 cheaply made Rambo steelbook every 6 months for maximum ££££££££££$$$$$$$$$$$$$$€€€€€€€€€€€€ :movie:

I caved in and just ordered :ordered:
I must be mad to but I love steelbooks
but I will be replacing the Blu Ray Disc with the Blu Ray from my German box set

If someone can pass on customer feedback to StudioCanal
Please for Rambo 2 and Rambo 3 steelbooks
use the 2011 Blu Ray Discs not the 2008 Discs
Let customers have the best Discs
