To be fair, the gloss looks way better than the previous photos have shown off, and the black is a nice shade. The front is a bit boring but it's not bad, much better than ID4.

You HAVE to choose your language in the welcome screen otherwise no option to change once you get to the main screen. I've tested it and it does play in Spanish language etc

I'm talking about the UK steelbook scene and not imports here.

How many of Zavvis exclusives have came down significantly in price after they have been announced? I'm struggling to name one....

4k print run at least...@ 20 quid a shot...for a thirty year old movie.

This is an eye opener no doubt.

Jack Reacher was a brand new release limited to only 500 copies nationwide and the steelbook was finished to the highest possible standard.

So no, you can't really justify the price.

I agree with CaptainCoffee. This is way too overpriced for such an old movie.

I thought Commando was bad at £14.99, this is pretty ridiculous at £19.99!

I think Zavvi need to take a hard look at some of their pricing...

That artwork is incredible! I'm not even a big fan of Rambo/Stallone, but I'll definitely be picking this one up. :scat:

Hmmmm.....Studio Canal! If it's anything like their 'End Of Watch' Steelbook expect a lot of paint issues. This one is mostly black and all.

Everyone has an option to not purchase a Steelbook or any other item. There are many factors involved in pricing, and several decision makers have a say at different ends of the process. Lets keep it respectful everyone. A great deal of time and effort goes into even being able to post anything in advance of a pre-order. Our site has become a hub for feedback, and that cuts both ways. Differing opinions are of course ok, but personal attacks are not. Thanks all!

Not sure how I feel about this artwork. On the image itself it looks very dull and boring but with some embossing and the right finish it could end up being very nice in hand.

I agree buddy...

It's probably worth me giving this film a second chance anyway, as it was years ago when I first watched it.

As most have already said, I'd also love for the black to be matte and the red knife to be glossy... embossing/debossing would be a really nice touch too. :D

and here we go again....

same story....instead of opinions we have arguments,
too pricy = dont buy
dont like = dont buy
too expensive = look on the floor for pennies...

jesus...nice looking steel, one said before black matte finish with glossy red in the middle plain but very nice...although it kind of immitates the braveheart/highlander steel, it would be a great addition!!!

This is one of those films, that's perfect for a rainy Sunday night, especially when it's cold outside.

For the inside artwork, how about a shot of the scene where
Rambo is arrested at the end?

You know, just before the credits roll?

I think it probably will have some of the above, and will be pretty awesome in hand..:D

Black background and high gloss red touches is a great combination I think...

Kind of like BR, but hoping the Red is more Saturated like as above..
