To be fair, the gloss looks way better than the previous photos have shown off, and the black is a nice shade. The front is a bit boring but it's not bad, much better than ID4.

I think with Rambo pictured in the knife embossing wouldn't be easy....
Knife had to be all red for embossing I suppose.
With all the light weighted embossed steels released atm that could (with really good finish and proper metal quality) be a nice change

Of course a really great embossed knife and a glossy finish of the rest would be better, but you can't always get what you want

They should've just debossed the outline of the knife, they could've left the detail as it is that way.

I'm begining to think this is a ploy by Zavvi (like the 'last chance' email for Jungle Book) to shift mass copies of an item that isn't selling very well to begin with. I'm noticing more and more of their Steelbooks are 'selling out' only to return with what seems like an endless addition of stock and people are going crazy snapping up what they thought was previously unatainable. Clever Zavvi.

Maybe i'm naive but i'm trusting Zavvi when they announce 4k. Don't think it's a lie because one day you can have a former employee (or an employee from the printing factory) who reveals the trichery if it was one.
To explain that a steelbook is OOs and a few days after it's back up again for sale, it's not magic but only marketing. I think they pay a lot to have the exclusiveness so it's not really their interest to sell a product in two weeks because a lot of consumers may be frustrated to not have the chance to buy what they want, not everybody can buy several products every month. So i think that when Zavvi has selled a certain quatity they stop the orders for time and re-open the orders after.
Of course it's also a marketing strategy to increase the feeling of lake in the consumer's mind but Zavvi is not a philanthropic company and there is no obligation to buy their products if we think they're too expansive or not enough exclusive.
We must keep in mind that the sellers aim also to touch the general public not only the collectors.

Did you delete my post about Zavvi? If so please tell me why? I can understand it being moved to the Zavvi retailer thread but seriously what are the reasons for deleting it outright? It wasn't offensive or abusive to any other member so the only reason that's left is censorship and that just doesn't belong on the Internet....

I'm going to wait for an explanation before I make further comment but whoever did delete that post was completely out of line. This is a forum on the Internet not China for goodness sake. If you were so butthurt about my comments regarding Zavvi PM me and lets talk like adults.

Move the post: FAIR ENOUGH....but just deleting a post I spent time thinking about and typing out which was in NO WAY rude or offensive OR in breach of any of the rules of the forum is unacceptable.

I'm baffled by the responses/ actions of moderators on this forum with regards to criticism of Zavvi...who the hell cares if they read these forums? It's not all sunshine and rainbows...you simply cannot expect us to support this site (I use the referral links in the threads everytime I buy a steelbook!!!) and not have an opinion about Zavvi recent actions. I'm sick of being told what I can and can't say around here...it's getting to the point where anybody who has the slightest bad thing to say regarding Zavvi is told to STFU and has their post deleted.

What a joke.

I don't see why any of the posts were deleted, off topic certainly, but I didn't see any insults being traded or anything that can be regarded as being offensive. Often my posts get deleted without reason, if I ask why, I get told to stop being negative or get told to 'tone down your argumentative and insulting tone'. Having a debate is not allowed on this forum.
