Certainly has that Wes Anderson Moonrise Kingdom vibe to this movie. Those fan of that movie would probably like this.
Sam Rockwell and Rebel Wilson played some great parts in the movie.
Very amusing an enjoyable first half but then it kind of lost its touch for me for the latter half of the movie.
Still an overall enjoyable satire on a somewhat delicate subject material.

Probably very enjoyable for actual fans of wrestling (which I ain't) and who will know who the hell "Paige" actually is (which I don't).

Took the kids to see this the other week and it was thoroughly enjoyable, one of the best animated films I've seen in a while.

Watched this again last night with the kids as they both hadn't seen it before. As good as I remember it and the kids found it very funny, but damn i remember now how bad Arnies acting was in these films :spoil: :wow::whistle:

Arnie can act? What film was that?

I commend you for sitting through the movie :thanks:
I couldn’t even get pass the first set of songs before turning it off :spoil:
Haha I came close to turning it off a few times... the singing was seriously cringe, as well as some of the acting. I always feel bad giving small budget films like this a bad rating though, because I know so much heart and hard work goes into making them, hence why I gave it 2 stars rather than 1 lol. I did think the main girl was great though, and very pretty too. ;)

This is in my opinion still the best of all the Dracula films. This was the 1st colour Dracula and it captures perfectly the suppressed sexuality of 50's Britain before the swinging 60's. Thanks to a small budget the film actually works better. Dracula is played perfectly by Christopher Lee as the powerful count who brings the right amount of eroticism to the role and is genuinely scary in the role. His dark brooding sexuality is felt throughout the film. This film is as radically different from the 30's Dracula as John Carpenter's The Thing is from the Howard Hawks classic. The sets are superb, James Bernard's score is superb and Peter Cushing excels as Van Helsing. Even the ending is great and still one of the best Dracula deaths on screen. If you have the Anolis German mediabook, it's even more complete. So enjoy. It still holds up well today......

A gangster/boxer drama with Angelina Jolie. Not the best Blu-Ray transfer, but it is worth a watch

Excellent cinematography and recreation of the grit and feel of WW1. Great movie-making achievement with the continuous one shot filming.
I was watching out throughout the film to see if they 'cheated' at any point by breaking shot without the viewers noticing it.

As much of a technical achievement this was, for me it was also it's main flaw.
The focal point was so much on the main characters that it made the film seem somewhat slow & tedious. Actions/events occurring when the main characters stumbled upon it, a bit like following a character in a computer game.
Even though it was under 2hr running time, found myself looking at my watch a few times.

Overall it was still an enjoyable movie, but I'm not sure its one I would be in a rush to give this repeated viewings.

Was OK, but I expected more since it's from the same guy who gave us A Prophet and Rust & Bone.

Excellent film. Moving and cinematic. I wasn’t blown away by the leads, but very good film.
