yes. do check it out. slow film. but not in a bad way.

I first watched 13 hours (not as bad I thought it would be) then calvary. totally different kind of beasts. wish calvary and films alike got more attention. this one deserves it.roger ebert wrote a great review ...
I know. I miss small treasures like LOCAL HERO, SMOKE, CIRCLE OF FRIENDS, etc.
I think I still have CAVALRY on my hard drive!:)

...you have it on your hard drive, because you bought it and copied to have a backup. not that you visited piratebay.

I back up everything, so I can take them with me on portable drives when I travel.
Remember that backing up (making a copy) is perfectly legal if you own the media.

never said it wasn't. as a matter of fact I ugre (overkill) it ...

I actually backup my backups now!! (I remember when memory was not cheap, so I love how affordable it is to buy 3GBs to back stuff up on a small portable drive!).
....And I saw what you did there!;)

...can you, and all the kids around, image, the very first usb memory stick i bought was 15 mb. I said 15 mb. lol. it was cool. we were exited...I feel old.

By the way - I meant 3TB on my last post. :woot: 64GB IS ONE OF MY USB STICKS!
But, as handy (and cool) as it is - I still prefer to watch my movies off of uncompressed Blu ray discs and my music on uncompressed CDs. MP3 and MP4 compressed files are nice to have - but I always go with the best possible version when possible. It's a shame people don't realize that compressing their music into an MP3 is the equivelent of copying your blu ray to a VHS tape. The same is true of MP4 with video. If you have a film compressed to anything below 50GB - you are seeing a seriously compressed compromised image.
-- and I dig the wisdom and knowledge that comes with getting old! I just wish I could chuck it in a time machine and sent it to the younger version of myself, to prevent me from doing such dumb sh*t back then!

Ah the time when I first heard FLAC! It was like listening to a new song. I wish more music players natively supported it. Especially now that we have space (hard drive/memory) to accommodate the needs. I know you can play it through third party apps on your phones though, which is a good start.

It's a bigger shame that many don't care about compromised image. For some reason they cant comprehend this. When i try to explain this to someone and they dont understand it or simply ignorant of facts, i automatically assume they are idiots. Especially when they try to tell you that the movie wasn't good or they didn't like it. I'm like DUH! You didnt fully experience the movie!!!

I remember when Avatar came out, i met this dude ( a friend of a friend) and he was telling us how he didn't like the movie, "it was too fake" he said. I ask why and he said he didnt like how it looked. And after i find out he watched a CamRip.....on his laptop!!!!!!:banghead::banghead::banghead: Like really? That's the worst way to watch Avatar! if you watched it properly and still didnt like it, then I can respect that. May be it isnt your cup of tea. But that :angry:
It pissed me off on another level :hilarious:
