Dracula 1958.
This is the recently released anolis mediabook from Germany and it's awesome. It's the most complete print I have ever seen. I think there is even a couple of more seconds of Dracula's death at the end. The grading is way better than the UK one and the grain is left intact. If you're a fan of this film I can't recommend this blu-ray enough and all the extras from the UK release are here as well. Lee as Dracula what more do you want? And don't say "Blood, must be fresh, feed me all night long"

Mother - it definitely took me some time to digest it, and even now a day after I'm not completely sure I did, but it's definitely worth a watch. I still have a hard time to give it a rating though, I'll probably have to watch it again sometime soon

Dunkirk 2017
An Ok film. Was expecting more and it just simply never engaged me the way it should. The characters in particular a letdown. it never seemed to go anywhere and meandered all over the place. Nothing particularly memorable about this film. Nice photography though. Kenneth Branagh in particularly kept looking around him all the time as if he was lost and had wandered onto the wrong set. Can't fault the blu-ray. Top notch picture and sound.

Dunkirk 1958
Vastly superior film. Memorable characters, memorable set pieces and a lot more balls in general. The b/w actually enhanced my experience with this one. And in this one I did remember the characters afterwards. John Mills in particular stands out. The blu-ray is recommended. Outstanding restoration.

Public Enemy 1931
The film that made James Cagney big and it's not hard to see why. The prototype for every film from Scarface to The Untouchables...... An astonishingly deeply unpleasant character yet for all that, you can't help but like him.......

Point Blank 1967
If The Killers got Lee Marvin noticed after decades working in Hollywood then this film put him on the map. A brutal film of a man brutally betrayed by all around him. And a surprising ending......

Little Caesar 1931.
Another enjoyable Crime caper similar to Public Enemy. Edward G. Robinson excels as the hood clearly based on Al Capone.

Bullet 1967
What does one say to the most iconic car chase in film history. "How many times do they pass that Volkswagen?"
And Happy 2018........
