Another creature flick that I loved. Matthew McConaughey was absolutely bad-ass in it and it probably featured the most menacing dragons ever on film.

A very very poor film. Saw it on TV one night and it starts off well and goes down hill rapidly. Serious amount of flaws in the film and holes in the plot you could drive a tank through. Also serious misrepresentation with the above artwork as it never happens in the film. The budget for the film was clearly very low and sadly it shows.

It's 'representative' art, not 'literal' art. Were you also upset that
The alien egg didn't crack open over a waffle?

Tintin didn't walk on the Globe?

Or nobody's face exploded with light?


It's a freakin' poster- get over it...
And Reign Of Fire was freakin' great!!

Big difference. The artwork for Alien and the Thing are designed not to spoil the film for the viewer so you go in with no expectations. The Reign of Fire poster is totally wrong as it implies scenes that are not exactly in the film.
