Not a big fan of Aronofsky - my god what was The Fountain all about?! But did enjoy Black Swan, I've not heard anything bad or good about this film - is it worth a blind buy or not?

It's a slow paced film, the story is really good. It shows different ways how drugs effect a group of friends. I recently saw the Directors Cut and Wow!!!! This film taught me to never ever do drugs

More than any other movie in recent memory, Requiem for a Dream's score is part of the movie just as much as the acting, script, and direction. I think this movie is a masterpiece, but it is hard to watch. It is not one of those movies you bring a bunch of people over to the house and pop a shitload of popcorn and then cuddle on the couch to watch. They will leave wide-eyed.
