Looks great, well done Nova.

Don't think it was ever going to be easy to make a stunning design for this, it was a low budget film and not much artwork to go with really.

I still think the font on the spine should match the front and I personally prefer the silhouette characters but I'm happy with the changes and the names now match on the back.

Inside artwork is OK but I'm with @Hereticz this would look better.:D

Yea agree, the spine font should match the title!

I agree with you all, it looks much better now.
QT's face looks pretty awkward, though.

It would be great if they changed two more things: 1) swap the spoilery interior to one of the pics @Hereticz suggested (my favorite being the "classic" scene) 2) adjust the title on the spine just like @redlemon did. Seriously, maybe it would help if lobbied a bit. Nova have changed the artwork once, wouldn't they do some more rather tiny adjustments. I'll send an e-mail later, maybe you guys want to weigh in, too.

They should put a spoiler warning on the front

LOL, good idea!

Best part being the front artwork - as it should be - with that famous "Let's go to work" group scene of the 6 protagonists featuring heavily in mash-ups from "Star Trek" and "Dragonball Z" to Lego and everything in between.

As for the look of the front and back I feel that the silhouette style would have been better and would have suited better the black, white and red of the steelbook colouring but accept that's maybe too arty farty for some:-

Still not a patch on this artwork (imo):_

Next NOVA EXCLUSIVE <Reservoir Dogs> Steelbook Draft design Ver.2

still pretty :meh: about the whole thing. i know it's now the classic image from the film, but like @bluray hunter said, i've never liked the fact that Nice Guy Eddie is 'shopped into a suit he never wore in the film. the fact that he was always in a crappy shellsuit was part of the character. and just like the issues with HDZeta's L.A. Confidential lenti edition, for the love of god let's have some continuity on fonts. (my significant other is a graphic designer, i have slowly developed a CDO for bad fonts and kerning choices).

plus, have they really listened to fans and made changes? cos the only real change (as opposed to tweak) i can see is that Tarantino's been added to the back of a film in which he is not a key character. i doubt he asked himself, though, as he's a very modest man with no ego. :naughty:

Even though I don´t mind a present inside pic as much, here is a few better options I would like to be chosen:

Or this is just brilliant :D

Pleeeeeeeenty of choices :cigar:

nice one! all good options. i would maybe have chosen the car boot version. i like inner arts that would never be used as promotional marketing material, but make you smile when you open them, and work as the inside of a package. what could be more inside that the trunk of car? ;)

With their being 6. and only 5 on back ... I think they should have split that area up so its 3 on top, 3 on bottom ... then you have them all as im only assuming the 5 on back was cause putting 6 really squeezed it in and didnt work.

I really like this movie- like- REALLY like Reservoir Dogs.
But I seem to like this film less and less the more I watch it.... the opposite effect of The Hateful Eight- which I seem to like more and more the more I watch it.

Is that weird? I mean- if I had to nail down why- I think I might attribute that to the movie just not being stimulating on a visual level. It's a remarkably flat and grey film, which is the only aspect I can really hold against it.

I experience the same with 300. I loved it when it came out. Since then I watched it 3 or 4 more times and it got worst every time :D it used to be a 9/10, now maybe a 5/10.

I've had this problem with quite a few films so I made an app to keep track of when I watch movies so I can make sure I leave a decent gap between viewings. The gap since last viewing is never as big as you think, so careful not to overwatch them!
