It's possible that the listing was just taken down to replace the disc with a "cut" version? Very odd how they keep messing these things up, LOL.

•Due to German regulations and FSK attitude towards violence, a second version was created during post production to secure a more commercial "Not under 16" rating. This version removes or reduces some of the more violent scenes and gore effects (less blood splatter etc.). It was also used in Austria and the German-speaking regions of Switzerland. However, the DVD/Blu-ray release features the uncut version and is rated "Not under 16" as well. Since the FSK guidelines for home media are stricter than for theatrical releases, the cut theatrical version is thus rendered totally unnecessary.

•Dutch DVD is cut for violence (even more than the German theatrical version).

I like the way the silver bar looks. I thought it'd be too similar to the Walmart/Futureshop version, but it might be distinctive enough to be worth getting.

Video, no, I am pretty sure the US version has the uncut disc. I think it's a big deal for the German disc, because of their ratings guidelines.

Recieved mine today.

How rare could this title be?

i think with the uncut disk in this could become very rare they seem to be a fair lot on ebay at the minute i think it will soon dry up and you will not see many up for sale.
Not sure yet weather amazon.de will release with the cut disk in if it does the value will decrease.

Exactly Karl - if amazon.de fixes the problem and repackages it with the "cut" version of the film, we have another John Rambo / 2nd release situation.

I have to think that's more likely we'll see these again with the cut discs...but that's just me.

I got an offer for this £33 shipped. is that good ?

Not sure about the going rate on this one - but I would say a lot of people are after this one right now - so you'll get a better price if you sell it sooner rather than later (especially if a re-release happens and the steelbook looks the same).

Wouldn't the value go up though, if they re-release the steelbook with the cut disc?

Nope - look at what happened with John Rambo (re-release).

There really was no way you can tell between the two (uncut vs cut) release on the outside.

Maybe you got lucky and got one with a Media Mark sticker with the date (prior to them pulling from the shelves), or it had different shrink or whatever.

But it was the same packaging and the first one - and it hasn't appreciated like people thought it would...
