Might have shown up at 8am if I though there would be so few...

I ordered this one online because the closest BB is 40 minutes away. I checked my order status this morning and it is listing as backordered.

It says it will ship in 1-2 weeks but hopefully it will come sooner than that. Maybe BB didn't get their full stock in yet, which would explain why people are only seeing a few on the shelves this morning. Only time will tell. I did get them to adjust to the sale price though so that was nice.

My store had 5. 4 of the 5 had some sort of damage too. I was lucky I was the first one in the door.

Yeah, I'm guessing it won't take long. I ordered it as soon as it went live on the site so I'm guessing that their shipping warehouses just don't have it yet. Understandable since they're probably going nuts getting stuff out for the holiday. As long as they don't cancel the order, I'm good.

The two stores I frequent most only have 10 each and a friendly tweety bird told me they are not getting any more for this district

The best bet right now is to pre-order online (preferably more than one copy for safe shipping) and hope they are able to get some to ship out. And since this is a short release week, the $19.99 price might increase on Sunday. Good luck!

Personally though I like the bling-bling of Alice's pistols and eye balls on the front cover, Kate on the Underworld Awakening steelbook still rules

Man this sucks! Woke up late. Drove through the snow storm that's arriving today and through all the Christmas traffic, only to get there and leave empty handed. ;( Was so stressful being out on the road (saw one car in the ditch where they had slid off the road.)

Are the Best Buys opening early for the Holidays? Got there at 10:07 am (store normally opens at 10am) go look at the guys cart since there isn't a single one on the rack thinking maybe he just hadn't stocked them yet and he takes me over the shelves (he didn't put them on their new release rack but on the shelves instead) and they are all gone from the shelves. He says they didn't get many of them and he saw one customer grab 3 of them (I wanted to smack the white off that customer who needs 3 of this movie leave some for everyone else). So I wander around the store hoping to find the customer with 3 and see if he will let me buy one off him for $5 (gotta be cheaper than ebay and shipping fees after all). Can't find any so have an employe see if there is any more in the store. So he looks it up and he says there are 3 goes right back to the shelf and then back to the guy so now I am in this endless eff you scenario. So pull up best buy.com on my phone and order it right off their website for a store pick up since it says its available.

I had some more errands to run (wanted to get a new bike pump and swim goggles at the bike store since they were doing a %30 off Holiday special) and had to go get a couple iphones, so get an email while I am at sprint my order is ready to pick up. Swing back into the store and lo and behold they have the steelbook for me. SO FRAKING FRUSTRATING, why send me away from the store for me to have to order it for a store pick up to get. I did the online order just to see what would happen (as the ship copies said backordered for 1-2 weeks) and actually ended up with the steelbook.

Moral of the story Best Buy sucks, ebay scalpers suck, and smart phones can be handy in a pinch.

Glad you got 1, but you don't really know why someone took the 3 or even if he had taken 3. The BB employee could have been mistaken

For instance, on this forum there is a member that kindly took copies for me and other friends of him...

Just frustrated, my store never sells out there was a Finding Nemo still on the shelf and plenty of the Dark Knight Rises. Taking the last 3 just seemed mean, oh well I used my iphone for good Also frustrated with the employee for making me have to resort to beating them with the store pick up option rather than just finding the movie while I was there.

my best buy had 10...ALL of them had either paint chip or torn plastic. i decided to pass on this one. this is the worst batch of steels i've seen at a best buy.
