Original poll:
Hi guys, I want to let you know that I received an email from Fox France that asked me to vote for the artwork that will be chosen for the Steelbook that comes out in France in December.

Per axcraig and Mams, an e-mail was sent from Fox France, asking which cover customers would prefer, via a vote.

The choices are pictured below. If you had a say, which would you choose?

This one looks pretty nice now, but let's be honest, it's not embossed, a slight indent that makes a "border" is hardly worth noting as a feature, and $40 CAD for it? Iffy. Almost as iffy as 3 from Amazon.jp

the french title of the film is debossed aswell as the border mate ;)

It looks really good. I think I'm gonna stop getting the UK editions when a french one will be released as well.

And I'm thinking of getting the french boxset with the steel, it looks awesome!

nice...love the steelbook video...I'm glad to see the filmcell is located inside the case :scat:

what's up with the huge yellow mouse at the end of the video...damn..that's gross EEK!

so..the planet of the apes was written by a French guy?

biscuit, makes sense when the language and title is your own. But don't forget French Studios often lock to Region B so you would need multiregion player or the Amaray each time, however I can see the logic in your argument even from the UK, especially attractive when artwork is different. That is the draw for me.

I don't open the steels anyway, and region free players cost around $60 nowadays my friend :)

the more I look at it...the more I like the color contrast of the whole thing. It will sit next to my other embossed steelbook...as I group those together on my shelves :scat:

Black and gold is one of the better color combos in design I have been told. Not that I am a Steelers fan :hilarious:
