Never squelched for what's on your mind? I know plenty of people here who are great people who got banned there for the slightest things ...

All the hostility here is practically all from either "I hate Zavvi" or "I love zavvi" ... the news is here first and thus the first reactions of people get posted here first ... they calm down when making their later posts at other sites.

Well, on the contrary, I've been a member there for over 8 years and never been attacked for stating an opinion, or have posts moved and/or deleted. So I guess it's all relative in the end.

Well if you want to take jabs at this site, its members, mods, staff, and this forum then your gonna get your post deleted. (and that's what happen in the zavvi retailer thread today) Dont need that negativity here. My "wild" guess is you've never posted something like that over there and that's why it never got deleted there. But its not an us vs. them ... you could be on a fishing website and type crazy stuff like that and get consequences ... all we did was delete.

Perhaps it can appear that the glass is either half full or half empty ... it may seem hostile here at times (like in the last 8 months ; as it hasnt always been this way) but my OPINION from what I've seen is that we dont pull out the ban-hammer as fast ... pull it out fast and you put the negativity to a stop real quick ... however I've always been one to allow people to speak their mind .... up until the point where it totally derails the thread.

In which case we have accomplished that tonight.

i always thought debating was fine,like i said above I've had many discussions,we all have, i have had some with mods too believe it or not,im an outspoken person (wouldn't have guessed it huh?) but it's cool,there's no beef and the truth is were all in it together and we all love it,and like you have said before wreck,everyone's post gets deleted,even yours have!

Yup ... just diff culture here ... I'm sure in the morning Andy or DB will come in and delete my posts in here and clean this thread up. They know I can be just as guilty as any of "running my mouth" we're all human .... and I've always told them if they ever felt they needed to delete my post then have at it.

And contrary to deleted posts there have been times when I've seen posts deleted by DB or Andy and I've undeleted them or edited out the foul then undeleted. So sometimes a person may think it got deleted but in turn it showed back up at a later date. Its no easy task to moderate ... usually someone wont like ya' ... ultimately I got no ill feelings towards anyone here throughout our debates.

Just know this nothing is permanently deleted ... so its not like you cant mention to another staff if you feel you are being mistreated.
