Gawdammit, couldn't help myself but to order this title. Its that green and gold combo, so I'll risk it. But I swear, if they cover up 3 of the 5 characters with that nasty ugly plain slip, that'll be it for any future Zavvi Disney releases. When are people gonna apply some common sense over there.

Mmm Green and Gold;):scat:

Just checked my original order from a few weeks back when I ordered it with an unknown title and its changed the unknown to Robin hood:LOL: (i was worried it wouldn't change and I'd lose my discount). Watched this film recently (hadn't seen it since I was a kid) bought back a lot of good memories as it was one of my favourites, its still got it in my book.. I think the steel will look great covered in gloss too:D

That front doesn't look right to me, it's too modern, it should be more like the back or inside.

I'll maybe buy it if it drops in price though.

You're not wrong, but just so you know... it's an intentional marketing move. Disney has "modernized" some of their older classics primarily to appeal to today's generation of children in order to compete with other current animations. True that some of the purist collectors are bothered by this and would prefer the authentic classic look... but I kinda like that at least they paid strong homage to the original classic on the back and the inside. I think I'm with you. I like the old school look, but it's pretty typical for companies to try to keep modern with their marketing. That's why companies go through so many logo "updates" over the course of several decades. As for waiting for a price drop, I really wouldn't bank on that if I were you.

Good point  Disney / Zavvi need to revert back to that 1/8 slip

Glad to see that some people are on the same page with me on this. I would have gotten multiple copies of ALL of Zavvi's Disney collection, except that slip on the bottom is just too damn much. Either than that slip, they were all awesome releases. It's pretty sad that I had to axe so many of them, but no sense in getting them if I can only see 1/2 the artwork.

Inside art has vanished from zavvi
Are they changing the inside art or just a mistake when it was updated
