Got my amended release date email too. Curious to see what the artwork is going to be with this

crikey!! never knew this was available for £14.90 back in february. well disappointed at the big jump in price!!
i've preordered at £21.00, so i've emailed them to see if they'll adjust the price for my preorder, stating how drastic the price jump was and that the steelbook is cheaper else where.
cheeky of me, i know, but if you don't ask, you don't receive. you never know..........

I'm usually unlucky when it comes to pricing errors on amazon, but managed to snag this one for less than £15. Well happy. I'm going to judge this movie on its merits and not make comparisons with the original, which whilst good is certainly showing its age in certain areas.

Please let us know how you get on as I also pre ordered at £21.00

If they amend it I'd be very surprised. I missed out on a price drop by seconds and Amazon basically said 'tough'

The initial price was obviously an error. No way would amazon place a pre release at that low price. There is no way that they will lower any price that was over that one.

i dont think its an error, they did the same with non-stop, i think its just a way of building up hype, get a lot of pre orders so that when its full price it will be listed high when searching via the default 'popularity' function. I think if you missed it at that price tho then theres no way youll get it sadly

It's a way of building pre-orders before people actually get around to seeing a very poor film :hilarious:

no luck so far, all they did was upgrade my order from free super saver delivery to first class delivery at no extra cost.
i'll still probably benefit from buying it cheaper elsewhere as other retailers will probably get it to me on the day of release or before anyway.

I quite like it as well. Maybe put the temporary artwork on the back. I don't know if that would work, but for me that will be okay.
