I'm actually pleased to hear this... the poster art is nice, but for a steelbook it won't work with all that text on it. Going by your past work, I'm positive you'll give us something much better! So I'm not worried at all. :D

P.S. If it's StudioCanal, chances are Elliot (CreativeCardona) has designed it.

I like the alternative artwork in his portfolio that wasn't used for Place Beyond The Pines

just been to see this, wasn't really expecting much going by the trailer but surprisingly it was quite good, definitely toned down from the original, keeping my pre-order in place

I got round to seeing this last night, enjoyed it but as soon as I left it became very forgettable. It is no disaster or Robocop 3 but isn't a patch on 1 & maybe 2 even with a quality cast.

Saw this last night, very enjoyable sci-fi film. A reimagining rather than a rehash, with elements of the original. Like I saw written somewhere else, the 12A rating here in the UK, don't worry about it, is close to being a 15.

What he's saying is that he doesn't want to watch movies toned down for a rating.

I love the original, but it's hard to beat that with a PG-13 rating.

The problem is cinema is dying so they need to market films to the largest possible audience. I kind of wish they'd filmed extra scene's for the home video release, but then again the MPAA and BBFC seem to have greatly relaxed the guidelines of what's allowable at lower ratings.

I don't necessarily think that more violence = better movie, but I do miss the days when action movies were as violent as and had effects comparable to horror movies.
