Looks like they simply changed the color timing and elevated contrast. Don't think this is properly remastered.

Just watched the "remastered" edition. The Colors are a little bit better but that's it. Sharpness still sucks...
Doesn't feel remastered at all. Really disappointed....
German audio sucks really bad, DTS my ass, sounds like a 192k ac3 2.0 ripped from a vhs tape...

I don't. You can secure a copy and wait to see how it turns out before deciding if you actually want it or not
I'm not sold on the font on this, makes it look almost russian like. Wonder if it'll have a messed up spine like Robocop. Another one that would've looked stunning with the original poster art.

Looking at the picture quality of this movie and I have to say I love it. The colours really pop out and the image looks clean with out the loss of detail that comes with dnr. This really has me excited for future remasters, like The man with no name trilogy and Fargo.
amazon have finally started to despatch this,doubt i will get it on monday
It might do, I've have things ship on a Sunday and received it on Monday from amazon.
Being an eagle eyed viewer I will reserve the PQ judgement until I watch the disc.
