Nice job @Noodles Here's my concept art for those who want a little taste of the Dark Side with their Rogue One. Not trying to compete, just want to throw it out there for folks enjoyment. ;)

Loving the gold and black... it looks very classy! There's definitely a lack of official "dark side" artwork out there for this film though... it took me an age just to find that Krennic image I used.

But... @Noodles point is that when he does his Template, he only picks OFFICIAL released stuff from the movie studio so I have to imagine that all those would be approved for eventual steelbook release???
I doubt Disney Europe would sign off on a design with a title on the steelbook though. Doesn't fit their criteria unfortunately....

just felt like adding my comments to previous positive shouts on this thread. finally got to see this today, having (deliberately) seen no trailers at all. really enjoyed it, good storytelling, with little fat, strong direction and robust acting from a cracking ensemble cast. :joy: reviewing the above, i can see not everyone liked it as much as me, but for me it's right up there. :woot: pleased i pre-ordered this Zavvi release already, but eager to see what the premium sellers bring out, too.

Id hate it if they would go the current route of the Star Wars steelbook art, a head. Don't like it one bit.
Well I suppose technically it doesn't have to totally match the others as this movie is more of a spin off and isn't an episode like the others.... So long as episode 8 and 9 follow the same designs as previous episodes I'll be happy. Hate the idea of having a matching set for the first 7 episodes and then the rest of the episodes not matching

All DVDs/BDs are released 4 moths after (or a few days before/after) the movie release in theatres

not really if they do well in cinemas the release date gets pushed back as long as taking money, if they do bad the release date gets pushed foward. seen it on many films, other wise could just put a date when cinema release hits of 4 months as you say but imho it does not work like that, otherwise they would just stick a date up wouldn't they?

this was released dec 16th if is 28th april is 19 weeks which is 3 weeks more than 16 weeks for 4months

mechanic 2 aug 26th cinema, dvd nov 22nd. thats 12 weeks so that is 3 months as one example

It depends on the film studio some can be as quick as 2-3 months especially if not done well at box office but most blockbuster films are 4-6 months after cinema release with a few that are delayed longer
