No offence but a "Thank You"...really? Zavvi have done one thing after another for a good year or two now and just because we finally get a Disney release the slate is wiped clean? Sorry but that just doesn't cut it, I mean they (Disney) took that away and now that they added it back we should be grateful? Steelbooks should be going forward not backward.

I'll say thank you when we get a Steelbook of a much anticipated film with amazing artbook and a great finish.

My favourite part is the speed they fixed them!!!!

Lol they had a year since the marvel lentis to fix them. A year later the Disney ones were not much better lol

Off his rocker!

This steelbook seems like a missed opportunity. Most of us who've seen the movie barely even remember those death troopers and they're on the front cover. There was a lot of great art for this one. Poor design choice to be sure. Blufans will hopefully do something awesome but judging by how long TFA is taking to come out we may not see a Blufans release of Rogue One until next year at the earliest.

I find Disney to be the most disappointing company in general when it comes to home video releases.

Firstly the whole titleless spines. Yes, we know the reasoning behind it, but when so many other companies put titles on the spine regardless of a countries native language it's a pity Disney didn't for such a long time, here in the UK at least. I own many steelbooks from France and Germany, some exclusives to those respective countries and most of them have the titles in English on them even if text on the back isn't. At least this is one area that has hopefully been resolved for the UK.

Secondly, the choice of artwork. Theatrical poster art seems to be far more common these days on amaray releases, yet for some reason many companies, Disney included, shy away from using it on their steelbook releases, esecially for non-catalog titles. Iron Man 3, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Ant-Man, Captain America: Civil War, Doctor Strange, Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Rogue One all had a vast selection of great posters to choose from, but in some cases Disney chose to use awful designs (some worse than others).

GotG - great poster - terrible (and not even screen accurate) Walkman design
Avengers: AoU - great poster - bland 'A' design
Ant-Man - great poster - terrible (and again, not screen accurate) SSD card design

And so on and so on.

Finally, why oh why do they keep releasing the same old steelbooks? Just look at the Disney Classics range (and Pixar). Many of us probably own the original 35 or so from Zavvi, but now we're getting the same titles again only this time with bonus lenti (and spine title in Frozen's case). Fine, do all 35 again, it's not like I'm going to buy them, but how about doing the missing ones too while you're at it. Basil: The Great Mouse Detective, Lilo and Stitch, Bolt, Meet the Robinsons and the rest would be most appreciated.

Anyway, I'll stick with this release as I'm quite lazy with my steelbook purchases (generally the first or cheapest version), but part of me will mourn 'what could have been' with the design, just like I did with all the others I've mentioned.

Cancelling my preorder. This is truly awful. I can't believe how bad it is compared to the placeholder artwork. Seriously, what were they thinking.
I'm gonna have to hope another territory can come up with a decent alternative to this Bantha fodder.

Haven't they just announced a lilo and stitch steel with lenti?

I would definitely buy bolt and basil, they're both at the top of my list for steels:thumbs:

I'm keeping my order for this as it's probably not much more expensive than the amaray and I want the 3D disc.. plus once it's on the shelf with the others at least it will match in that it's a steelbook and has a title:happy:

Yes, please do cancel as many orders as possible thus giving collectors in the rest of Europe and Asia, who are stuck with a picture spine, a decent chance to buy this item.

Just check the facts (and your meds) before commenting.
As you well know, or should know, the lenti issue was only flagged by the AGE OF ULTRON released at the end of October 2016 with the first FIXED lentis appearing in the middle of December 2016 . . ,. a mere 6 weeks later . . . and yes, that's damn fast in my book!
