As I'm such a nice chap I'll just take a non-exclusive 1/4 because fancy slips/booklets/art cards etc. don't interest me.

Enjoy the chaos people.

Give me the sexy steelbook in the middle! ;)

i copy the request for an order limit,

i would say 2 of the full slip and 3 of the lenti should be enough for everybody, even for the occasional re-sellers.

i'd love to get 2 full slips (to display both the front and the back together) and one lenti, but will be happy with what i can get.

looking forward to the rush, literally!

Wow no limits huh?? Thanks a lot kimchi for ignoring our plea for a limit and not upgrading your servers. Shows how much you care about your customers. After the fiasco of Thor and Frozen this will be my last dealing with kimchi unless things improve.:ass::ass:

The thinking maybe that people can have more than one account and order the quantity anyway but if so they are missing a trick...
The ordering process itself with the current infrastructure means its pot luck whether you get an order in or not
If there were limits and people had to create multiple accounts then odds are they would not be able to process the orders on the website twice or three times successfully

This would give more chances for others

Even though I think the chosen artwork shouldn't even have been up for consideration, the rest of the package makes up for it. If kimchidvd don't limit sales and I miss out I'm not worried. There will be copies for sale here and on ebay.

Now this is real dilemma. Such a fantastic full slip package. I am pretty sure once lenticular package shot is put up here, the confusion will increase for people like me who are looking to get only one variant.

I would also advise to put a limit for at-least first 24 hours. It's highly unlikely that such package would not sale out even with order limit.

Hopefully Tony gets feedback regarding this cause we have 3 days til' this goes live. Unlimited amount just means low expectations and I have no interest in pursuing this if I cant obtain a copy thru them. 1 per order is more realistic or 2 would maybe keep it at 30mins to an hour possibly before selling out.

Let's wait and see what Choi has to say about this. If every Kimchi exclusive released so far had a pre-order limit, I think there is no reason not to do it this time.

I am worried cause I'm not gonna pay extra money to %##¥%*# scalpers just to get this release.

As far as I see it, Kimchi wants to sellout as fast as they can, hence the NO ORDER LIMIT.

I, personally find this NOT highly fair to their customers who are waiting for this release and just want to secure a copy for their own collection instead of ordering multiple copies to earn an extra buck.

I'll be disappointed if Kimchi doesn't put an order limit to these releases.

The website is terribly out of date, with fluctuations it's a terrible hassle just to order and this only makes for more work for Tony and his crew.

I even had to mail 4 times back and forth for my Le Grand Bleu steelbook, because of a fault in their system.

Above that I didn't even get the right amount of replacement discs, which I'm not even gonna email them about, cause it all takes a long time.

Please Kimchi, get your act together. You want to grow? Stay ahead of your competition and severely upgrade your front end user interface and your server.

If you can't do that in time, at least have the courtesy to put in a order limit. Cause honestly? I'm getting fed up of a company just feeding the scalpers and hitting F5 at 2 or 3 o'clock in the morning to find out I didn't get an order in.

"HOT STAMPING TRANSPARENT HOLOGRAM COATING" sounds incredibly fancy! :scat:

For the collectors who are not yet familiar with Plain Archive and their awesome slipcovers, check out the video in the Melancholia thread here (video is in the middle of the OP). That shows you what the hot stamping and hologram may actually look like.
