Should be the same quality as the ones Plain Archive does correct?

The question I have is the lenticular going to be a magnet or a slip box type?

1/4 slip version - 500 per Facebook??? Will it be for sale on KimchiDVD?

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be since their other non-exclusives were and still are for sale on their website.

This is what they posted on their Facebook page yesterday. I can't see them posting about the 1/4 slip if they weren't intending on having it on their site.

Notice the interest rising in the 1/4 slip.

With only 500 that could prove to be the black horse grabbing the limelight when the dust finally settles.

I always feel that the 1/4 slips from these exclusives will become most sought after.

Once you get the bug it lasts forever. :oohyeah:

It'll be the rarest, but somehow I don't see it being the most sought after down the line. Gone are the days when the lowest quantity equates to greatest desirability.

Its not about how low the print is on these quarter slips. Its how it compliments the look of the steel when still sealed.

it will come to personal preference and especially someone who loved the movie... because I'm a 1/4 slip lover, love them very much and I have no interest in this release even the 1/4 steel... and I collect actively so I feel that If I feel this way others must too.

this might have the amelie effect, prices will go down after on the market places, it'll never be able to reach the prices of The exclusive 1/4 slip at 300 limit... time will tell

I love 1/4 slips, but I can't see this one being as popular or valuable as the lenti or full slip. I could easily be wrong, but I just don't see it happening. I think that the non exclusivity of this may hurt the value of it in many collector's eyes.

I passed on The Pianist 1/4 and will more than likely skip this one too even though it's a great looking steel. I plan to open my full slip so I can enjoy the steel and the wonderful package offered with it. :)

You have a good point. The fact that none of the extras come with the 1/4 slip will be a letdown, but I hope they at least make a good looking 1/4 out of it.

I think with these kind of Exclusives tastes are, have changed. Look at Blufans they only do Slip Boxes and slip covers.
Plus the quality of these slip boxes thanks to PA,BF, are superb. With special finishes like holofoil, Hot Stamping.
I used to love 1/4 slips only, and now and again you still get amazing ones from TW, Frozen kimchi, Amelie....etc
But trends change and I see more and more now Full Slips, Lenticular's, are really taking over with these Exclusive packages.
And it's not true that once your a 1/4 slip guy you never change! :naughty:

I have changed and will take a full slip/Box over a 1/4 now most times. ;)

I don't care about value or 300 print runs.Yes it's nice when it's limited. But the most important thing for me as a collector is the whole package. The design, finish, the steel, the quality of the slip, the booklet, goodies that come with these exclusives....That's what I look for when buying these exclusives.
