I'm totally late into this. Just looked into this thread and saw that there are 1,683 posts! Instead of spending time going through the posts, I would like to ask this very ignorant question: Why is Rush lenticular, which has a 2,500 print run, commanding such a high value that people seem to be asking for?

The reason I ask is cuz I posted to do a trade for a copy. I intend to open it up to watch the movie and keep the package (haven't watched the movie yet). But I am quite shocked by what people are asking for their copy of Rush. I think I'm missing something. :emb:

It's greed that ruins this Hobby.

Ordering from Kimchi is HIT & MISS. Luck of the draw. I managed to order a spare Lenti of this, but I am not a seller. I haven't gone over to the dark side yet. But, I did miss out on the Snowpiercer Lenti, and Frozen, and Tangled. And many more. So I will be looking for a trade.

This allows me to get those OOP copies without paying the Cray Cray $

Definitely save that thing for a Tangled Lenti. Most beautiful lenti I have ever seen in my life.

The trade section is just Ebay prices without fees for the sellers anyway.

To a certain extent yes, in fact some sellers are worse. However you can't TRADE on eBay, only sell - some of us don't want to do that! There are honest and genuine ninjas who buy the newer limited steels in order to trade for older limited steels that they may have missed

Some of us sell a lot of things at cost :naughty:

its because plain's rush is guaranteed to be the undisputed collectors edition of a highly collectible movie. thats why.

Back on topic, this steel is going to be the ONE for the Rush collection! Can't wait to get mine, the gloss finish is going to be epic! Anyone else plan on opening theirs?

I definitely do, if I managed to get a copy! Lol

But I'm not gonna pay a high price for it. Plain Archive or not, I'm not crazy about the design. My interest in getting one is cuz I have not watched the movie and I could do with good packaging. It's not to make money. :)

It's kimchidvd. You snooze, you lose.

Those are the rules of conduct ;-)

Sure, they could have given a headsup, but we don't know how many copies there were.

What I don't understand about it, though, is that if you sign up to be told when it becomes live again, then you should get an email telling you about it but then you visit the site and it's gone, rather than not getting an email at all, right?

Missed this on release but managed to line myself up the full slip with a member on here :)

Jealous, was intending to get that one, but was sold out before I could check out, so I settled for the Lenticular, which, while still awesome, was not the one I intended to get.
(Anyone willing to trade for full slip I'd be happy to help you out).
