Do AMericans find him funny? i mean i was watching the VMA's and i found him hilarious so was wondering if you guys find him funny or is it just british comedy

I thought he sucked total arse! That **** aint funny, hence why the crowd barely even laughed for him.

The VMA hosts have always sucked unless it was Chris Rock or Jamie Foxx. They need comedians to host only. Wanda Sikes would be hilarious.

She is one of those people that I would like to rip off their own arm and beat them with it.... she annoys me to death.

As for Russel, I don't find that dude very funny either. I didn't watch the VMA's though so I'm not sure about his performance there.

I just dont think you guys get his humour!!! Some of the stuff he was saying was hilarious especially at the end about Katy Perry

Russel Brand is hilarious!!! i watched the VMA's last night and I must say i was laughing when he was on. He was also funny as hell in Forgetting Sara Marshall. I like british comedy tho. I have always been a big fan of Monty Python and a lot of the Guy Richie films like Lock Stock and snatch are good. I think Trainspotting even has some.

I agree. I just thought that bit was FUNNY. The whole deal, about bush, having sex with Gaga, and the health care thing.

I also Hate his style of comedy,i saw one of stand up shows on mtv and it was the worse,the guy is really corny and hardy tells any jokes...really reminds of a Gay person more then anything with his long hair and style of clothing...like if a hippie came along and had sex with one of the Fab Five members...then you have Russell Brand's Fruity Pants.
