I have the previous 20th Anniversary Blu-ray Definitive Collector's Set
The new 4K scan remastered from the original film negative 25th Anniversary Blu-ray with new extras is a must have
Both 4K UHD and Blu-ray has the new remaster
I have this steelbook on pre order but I will also be getting FAC premium edition and possibly other premium editions

As the film is black and white, I can't imagine much difference in picture quality in a 4k remaster apart from 'deeper blacks'!! 
I haven't seen it yet in 4k but I guess the red coat will pop more with HDRAs the film is black and white, I can't imagine much difference in picture quality in a 4k remaster apart from 'deeper blacks'!!
But mostly greater definition, which is still a factor in B&W.

Only if you've got a screen bigger than 65" or you like watching your movies a foot away from the screen
.But seriously, a mate has a 4K projector set up, and even I have to concede UHD for him is a massive step up over 1080p.
It's one of those scenarios where the movie itself is the actual object of desire, the steelbook packaging is just the cherry on the cake. The original content is iconic and meaningful and it's just my opinion but certain icons should not be changed much as many steelbooks as I have and I collect this is one which I'm just happy to have the 4K edition and in a prestige packaging format, again the movie is the masterpiece and the item of attention, not what we all think should be on the cover. There is an FAC edition coming too so it might please others more than this one.
