Yes! Especially for my Drobo. I have 5 bays in it and I already have three filled with 4TB Seagates and it's at capacity and I need to put another drive in it to expand it. I think I'll save up for this drive and put it in there.

Man unless this is going to a storage and not your main drive I'd be willing to buy it. I can't imagine the latency this thing would have as your main OS drive.

I wouldn't use any optical platter drive as an OS drive now since SSD's have come down substantially in price.

Not far enough to where you get big storage size for a good price . Cheapest pro line Samsung edition was $130 for 120GB. That's really not cost effective. Now if that was a 250GB for $130 damn we are talking a sweet deal there haha

My old rig is still running a SATA 3 drive. I need a new rig
