Expecting this to be same as the German steel from a while back (sans German text of course) which would make it my second favourite after the U.K. horizontal with de-bossed title also from a while back.
The Reel Heroes steels are cool but those have all been released here in the U.K. as Amarays with slipcovers already . . .
U.K.(Play.com excl. vs. Reel Heroes vs. German

Probably one of the worst artwork choices ever if that's real. So much to draw from and they go with a black background and a weapon I don't even recognise but I'm guessing is from the end of the movie?! Thankfully the horizontal UK steel with debossed title is still quite nice!

the weapons is seen here....but still a really odd artwork choice. It will need a realy nice finish with some bossing to really be worthwhile

The front is rubbish, not sure what the rest will be like, gonna stay happy with the play release, was hoping for better, not looking good though.

Well that's different, though not in a good way alas.
Not recognising the weapon (if that's what the image is meant to represent) as not much like the axe we've come to recognise in its many reproductions. . . but I accept it's an artistic representation although it looks to me more like a representation of Mr. Punch or of an exotic bird's head rather than a useful weapon.

Worse comes to worst I'd have preferred this . . . top half anyway. . . as direct competition for the horizontal steelbook:-

Could still pass muster with a de-bossed title and an 8 Euro price tag . . .

There are two weapons in the steelbook front cover, not one. The same (or at least similar) battle axe and saber as in the previous steelbook covers in Summer's hands.

I don't strongly dislike the cover, but it's way too simplistic for this film. Missed opportunity to come up with something better than the previous efforts.

Another example for an artwork gone horribly wrong. But what is much more important than everybody's personal taste, is that it shows a complete lack of creativity and imagination. In my opinion, anyway......

We have a space western based on a popular short-lived TV show featuring an ensemble cast and an iconic eponymous space ship. For the Steelbook we'll use generic CG artwork of two melee weapons that were used during one scene. KA-CHING
