ok so looking at ricsters more detailed pics looks like the bottom front cover is a full gloss, and top half is a gloss, brushed metal type finish- interesting!

I thought this was a full gloss finish. I think the brushed metal can still be glossy though it doesn't look as glossy as the bottom half.
