This is a Straight up disgusting response/attitude for a staff member of a site/forum to have and its really makes this site look utterly pathetic when you let members sh*t all over another member/company over and over and over and over again. and the response of the staff is " hey guys its just a joke".

You are entitled to your opinion, but it is no joke and constant berating against other members is not tolerated. Your welcome to report the post if you absolutely feel it is unjust but just to let you know a lot has gone on behind the scenes that I cannot discuss.

I will remain neutral but unless EB is straight up ripping people off this level of repugnant behavior displayed by members Just makes the site/staff look bad.(that's not my opinion either as i showed this thread to someone from universal earlier today and suffice to say they where pretty appalled). And not gonna waste my time reporting people either because I am not a b*tch.

Oops, someone from universal is appalled people have opinions and have worries about a product they paid for 6 months ago which they haven't received yet and not too sure what's going on with the item they paid for after weeks of customers being told everything would be shipped 2 weeks ago lol, not to mention the comments from customers saying they are being ignored when contacting them

Oh newsflash, HDN is not the only forum where these types of comments are being posted and peeps requesting refunds.

But someone from universal is appalled so we better be careful

Just google steelbook forums and look for the Shaun threads.... I already see a few before my last post, the other sites might not have as "many" posts as here but it's not my problem that HDN is more popular and has more activity

He speaks the truth, there are other forums on the internet that dedicate themselves to steelbooks and in those forums are maybe not quite as many but there are some unhappy folks with the whole situation just like there are here.

I am simply explaining as to why, as frustrated as I am, I just can't get myself to give in to complaining about it. I didn't even mention anyone else's complaints; also that I would like my pre-order to be fulfilled and not disallowed. I've never seen anyone so starved for attention that they have to latch onto everything that's posted without even a minute grasp of understanding. It's stunningly juvenile.

I permanently remove myself from posting in the forums. Stomp around as loudly as you wish.

Having an opinion is fine having worries is fine, voicing them on this forum is also fine. Calling the company thieves isn't fine, saying that they're gambling away customers money rather than shipping the products isn't fine, calling them names like a little kid isn't fine and various other unproven derogatory comments isn't fine. But apparently it's all done as a joke so that's OK then.

I'm sure there used to be rules against targetted negative posts about other members and as EBlu have an account here they count as a member but I guess I was wrong.

The posts aren't negative, they are honest reflections of the situation.. Which is negative.

So they may not be thieves in the true sense of the word but they've taken money a long long time ago.. Moved the goal posts in terms of the quality they promised/boasted to provide (numbering cards, lenti quality etc), charged people for a certain courier service for delivery and now being reported that another probably cheaper one is being used and orders still aren't being fulfilled. Even if you do get your item, it's quite clear you didn't get exactly what you paid for so I can see why the term theif is being thrown around.

If you are frustrated why read for the forums? And yes you have made the most rediculous post I have ever read. But I choose not to engage with you as you make no sense. Quite simple isn't it, if the thread frustrates you stop moaning and quit reading.

If EB are not forthcoming of course everyone is going to speculate of what is going on behind closed doors? What are they hiding? No one will ever know 100% what goes on unless EB comes out honest which I doubt he ever would as it would probably do more harm than good. Now it appears we are having this discussion again but this time you are confused with facts and opinions. It's called speculation of the situation. We will never be able to prove fact. Just because we cannot prove fact does not mean we cannot give opinions.

If a business becomes a member of the forum for the sole reason of promoting and hyping their product and don't bother to use the same forum to help and respond to queries and problems then they deserve every word of negativity and speculation they have received. You can't have it both ways.

Doesn't make this site look bad to allow members to post - we're run independently, paid for by members support (clicks, donations, group buy fees) not by a studio or retailer that is pushing their agenda down the throats of people that post here.

You want some uncontrolled posting, check any reddit sub for a topic that people are interested in, and off you go. You'll note that any forum that has a vested interest in a particular retailer or product - all their posts are moderated. Every. Single. One.

There are some forums out there that literally pay MILLIONS in cost to moderate each and every post made on their site.

I won't go further down this path past the following and this is aimed mostly at the continued circles this thread traverses in. By now this topic has been discussed beyond the level it would ever need to. If the same few members can't restrain themselves a bit and take a break of the constant prodding of each other, we'll give this thread a few days off.

This is not a VOTE for a particular retailer, or the troubles they currently are facing or find themselves in - but if I've got to live with all the rest of you on this board, then we're all going to need to play nice for a bit and cool off on this topic.

This is my last warning - the mods have been watching and I've asked them to alert staff if this thread gets off the rails again.
