4k print run is quite high. Entertainment Store got ruined because of high print runs and some odd choices of films. Higher print run is not a good thing for retailers these days.
Print runs is a grey area for me, if it's too high then that's a problem, if it's too low and almost impossible to get then that's a problem, personally if I want something which I know will sell out in under a minute, I'll probably not bother and spare myself the dissapointment.

Looks real nice I may have to get one. It's a shame that they couldn't decide which side of his shirt the name tag should be. On the right on the slips but on the left on the steel.
We tried different layouts of the artwork but some didn't line up how we wanted to, like the badge on the back being hidden and not showing through the lettering, so we took the decision to lay it as is but constant through the slips.

Even the official artwork does chop and change between side, hopefully this is a very minor thing for collectors.

Thanks,
EverythingBlu

I completely agree, I'm not going to try for this release but if there were only 500 total of each slip, well that just might've changed things. People complain but I love the exclusivity otherwise I'd just pick up an amaray for a couple of quid

On a worldwide stage, 1500 & 500 are pretty exclusive still. Plus if you are interested in the Cornetto Trilogy which we hope to get, may as well grab Shaun.

Thanks for your comments either way!

Sorry some confusion on the print runs stated, our apologies. The 1500 a physical units to sell, not their total print run, we thought it may cause confusion the other way around but that s backfired it would seem. So total print run is 4k with numbering cards showing 2k, blu box numbering card showing 500. 1500 full slips to sell, 1500 lentils to sell and 500 Blu Boxes.

Thanks,

EverythingBlu

Ah cheers, yeah that makes sense

Was nearly there lol

This is true but in honesty ES were charging pretty much the same as these single edition premiums of Shaun of the dead. So no wonder they failed, their standard prices were too high just for a steel.

These are the same price and you get slips, cards, etc etc

(Please don't do another dredd - I see that mentioned)

Please consider the matrix, vanilla sky, lost in translation and anything by Wes Anderson and spike jonze (although there is already a great her)

I understand that you've gotta buy in bulk just this release to me isn't one I need. What I'm saying is the only reason I would buy it, is if I would later regret it i.e. it becomes a grail and is worth 4x retail. That just aint gunna happen with the amount of copies you're selling

It is weird that we in the EU still pay £10 more on a box set compared to the rest of the world but then I suppose their shipping will be much higher.
Fixed that for you

Taxes may be weird, but they are as inevitable as death.

As VAT is not collected in EU countries for goods exported outside the EU, it's up to the local tax laws and regulations of the buyer's country whether VAT (or similar tax or customs duties) are collected at the border.

Most likely buyers outside the UK but within the EU will pay the highest prices, as the shipping costs are higher and we'll also pay VAT. This might even get a nod of approval from @lgans316

Mind you, I'm not complaining, as costs for importing items are simply part and parcel of this hobby. One just makes choices on when to buy and when not to.

This is a fine looking release from EverythingBlu; I'm definitely interested

P.S. For the first few visits at the store I kept seeing the web site URL as "sod everything"

It's nice to see a UK retailer doing one of these editions, but since it's only spot gloss, I'll be passing. For this sort of price, I expect full gloss, especially on artwork that has a big section of one colour, which always looks bad when it's matte (I assume the spot gloss will be on Shaun and the hands and maybe the title).

Loads of FAC and Asian premium WWA Steels are matte and priced nearly twice as this.. Seems to be little or no complaints but the expectations automagically become.sky high when it comes to UK retailers.
