Nothing wrong with what you said. I totally agree. That said, my statement was not against the retailer but rather a film that has received enough attention over the years and a recurring theme in the UK to re release / re package titles. But the film / trilogy obviously has a huge British following so makes sense in the UK market.

That being said, the number of releases coming out of the UK is jaw dropping. This being another one in the UK plus the others you have planned just keeps adding to the already massive schedule. Not that anyone will buy all of them ( I'd hope not :naughty: ) I am concerned about the steady release as stated ( but I understand this is a business too ). I find well spread out releases better overall and healthy for collecting rather than a steady stream.

Thanks for your input of course!

When we say steady, we mean balanced. Different opportunities come up at different times but we would hope to be able to concentrate fully one one release at a time to create the best we can. Yes, there are many UK retailers but again no other premium retailers.
I definitely want to buy this. Will there be a version without the extras? I don't want to offend the people who collect it but numbered plastic cards, postcards and booklets don't serve a purpose. I'd happily pay £25 - £30 for the steelbook and a J-card shrink wrapped like a standard release. Looking forward to seeing images of the steelbook. I would absolutely buy all 3 of these films

Thanks for your comment. If your happy with £25 - £30 just for the steelbook alone, would you not want the extras plus an exclusive slipcase for the same price? We won't be doing a single steelbook/ 1/4 slip on this release.

Again, thanks for all your comments, some news should be coming soon.

I'd happily pay the extra to support your new start-up company but no, sorry the extra stuff is just useless tat. I mean numbered plastic cards are the definition of pointless and postcards are hardly the best method to showcase art. As for a slipcase, I'd rather not as the scuff the steelbook..

No offense to the people that like that stuff

Love slipcases, especially lenticulars. Completely agree with the other stuff.

There's a lot of collectors that get these premium editions that don't open them.
And I've used plastic pet slips and other means of storage and have had no issues of my steelbooks being scuffed. Including slip cases.
