I believe that's how a one click works

If a print run is 3000 like this then the amount of box sets/ one clicks/ Blu boxes will be the amount stated from final print run

So 500 of the 3000 are box sets. Other 2,500 are singular sale

That's how I understand a one click

It's already been stated that the extra metal numbering card will mirror the number on the single editions in the box set you get so that must be the way

Thanks for the info:notworthy::thumbs:

If it's pay upfront i might not be able to get this after all.. I was hoping i could put the money away in Feb.

Isn't the print run 4000?
1500 of each slip=3000
500 of both slips =1000
=4000 total?

Not sure, was waiting for EB to confirm it

I thought the 500 came out of the 3000

I believe @Flloydo said it right the first time expect the remaining qty after the One Click will be 2000, not 2500 (2 editions per boxset). Unless I've majorly F-d up :p It's still early for Maths

Lol.. when I was writing it I was thinking that my brain wasn't quite in gear at that time of the morning

The most important question for me is if we have to pay up front (for definite). .. I can see if I can juggle things around but money is way too tight at the moment for other pre orders that's it's doubtful :ohno:

Seem to recall the play.com SOTD steel was only £10.99-this is more for a Slip.
I appreciate this is a new company but the golden age of steelbooks has passed, people just seem to re-release titles the majority of collectors already have, and I for one need to get out of the habit of owning multiples of the same titles...

I got mine £10 after quidco cashback. It is not a bad Steelbook. We are long past those golden days of cheap and quality Steelbooks I am afraid. We are in this so called Premium world where everything is overpriced and gets 3 to 5 editions setting us back a dear £140-£180. Note importantly 80% of these are selling at a huge loss these days. so the word Premium loses its meaning.

3,000 is a huge print run but as this is a UK release there will.be lots of interest.

I am pretty sure they will still have a GB....just saying you will be able t

Maybe the fact that a lot of the premium retailer's do the same movies

Buying all editions of a release is a personal choice though isn't it? No one is forcing you to buy them all. Most things that are collectable probably lose some resale value, obviously demand and quantity decides if something is worth more on the secondary market.

If you are buying steelbook releases as a financial investment, I think you are barking up the wrong tree.

Lol at that gif:thumbs:
I have a few questons for tomorrow

If I've read it all correctly then you plan to have a website up and running on the 6th Jan when we'll be able to order?
Will you have it up before the 6th so we can create accounts ahead of time?
The release date is unknown but we will be given a release date at some point before the 6th?
When we pre order, will you debit the payment immediately or just before dispatch?

Thanks:thumbs:

I like all of the designs, and reading all the textures, embossing, spot gloss etc I think these will look brilliant in hand.

I'd like to pre order but I need to know when I'll be charged and the release date so I can budget for this:emb:. Many thanks:cigar:

Hello,

The store website will launch on the 4th for account creations, pre-orders on the 6th January.
Release date will be announced before pre-order.
Payment is taken at pre-order.

Thanks!

Sorry some confusion on the print runs stated, our apologies. The 1500 a physical units to sell, not their total print run, we thought it may cause confusion the other way around but that s backfired it would seem. So total print run is 4k with numbering cards showing 2k, blu box numbering card showing 500. 1500 full slips to sell, 1500 lentils to sell and 500 Blu Boxes.

Thanks,

EverythingBlu

@EverythingBlu Nice film choice to start off with, as it's a good film that lacks a truly outstanding version to date. As long as quality is the no. 1 priority with good film choices then I'll be one of your biggest supporters on this forum

I'm a sucker for (depth effect) lenti slips, so I can't wait to see this in the flesh
Thank you!

Like we have said, we have to start with some catalogue titles to begin with but NONE of the titles in the pipeline have a definitive edition and of course, the Cornetto Trilogy deserves something special which we hope we can put together.

Thanks again,

EverythingBlu

Why 2 price for each edition ??? Shipping are include ? EU = European Union ? More expensive than ROW (Rest Of the World) ??
We have to charge VAT to european union countries. Once higher shipping rates are added to Rest of the world countries all customers are paying a similar price.

Thanks,

I know there's a ton of versions out there already but I'd really like @EverythingBlu to consider producing a Dredd steel in the future.
The U.K has been poorly served, with only the Zavvi steel made available, which was a bit of a misfire!
Exclusive, newly commissioned art would be fantastic and it being a comic book title, they could really go to town on the packaging!
